2017

I launch The Courage & Clarity Podcast, a show designed to tell the raw & honest stories of female entrepreneurship in order to inspire women around the world.

My coaching business is born and I leave Fizzle to coach my clients full-time.

2010

I land my first "big girl job" out of college as an early employee at Groupon. I was a sales rep who had to make 100 cold calls a day in a warehouse with no walls, trying to sell coupons on the internet.

I was so bad at it, I was almost fired. I had to sign a piece of paper that said I had 1 month to turn it around or else I'd be terminated.

2011

I go from "struggling sales rep" to "top rep in the company". I studied the art & science of sales and figured out that every single sales conversation follows the same 6 "stages" from first contact to closed.

I'm promoted to Sales Trainer & begin training 50 sales reps every single week, teaching new hires how to sell our product.

2012

I marry my college sweetheart where we met, on campus at the University of Notre Dame. I start thinking about how my dreams of motherhood will fit with my career. I keep trying to make it fit, but I know in my heart something isn't right.

2013

I develop a standardized Sales Process with my team and roll it out to the company. It's so successful, I'm asked to travel to Zurich, Switzerland to train all of Europe.

2014

I'm recommended for the position Sales Training Director for all of North America at Groupon.

I'm passed over because I'm "too young" (I'm 26).

I'm asked to do the job for the same salary without a new title or compensation while they look for someone "more qualified".

I try to shut my mouth and keep doing my job for the six figure salary & stock options, but I can't stop feeling like something's wrong. I start listening to podcasts like Jess Lively's "The Lively Show" and Pat Flynn's "Smart Passive Income" on my commute to Groupon. I hear stories about "regular people" making

2015

I'm obsessed with online entrepreneurship and set a "quit date" of April 15, 2015 with no idea how it will happen. I apply for a Part-Time Member Success Specialist job at large online membership site for entrepreneurs, Fizzle.co. At first, my resume is thrown out because I'm so over-qualified. I get the job and walk away from my cushy job to "work with mustached Portland guys I met on the internet" (thanks for that one, Dad!) I become the Director of Member Success at Fizzle and co-shot the top-rated Fizzle Show for 2 years.

2016

My daughter is born and a new fire for women making their way in the world blazes bright inside me.

2019-2020

My business is booming, but there's just one problem: I'm burnt out and terrified of scaling. I take a job with a business mentor as the Director of Sales & Marketing. I ghost my business completely and shut everything down before I accidentally break it and let myself down.

2021

My son is born and shortly after, the world shuts down for the pandemic. I use my own scrappy selling strategies to fund my maternity leave and float my family when my husband is laid off.

I finish up my time as a W-2 employee and jump out on my own again. I briefly start a copywriting agency, but realize coaching has my heart so I pursue it full-time again. I get ceritified as a Life Coach and re-open my previously successful mastermind.

2024

I'm at the highest revenue level I've ever reached, I'm healthier than ever and mentally strong as I scale my business.

I'm revolutionizing the coaching world with my unique sales experience and determined to change the landscape of the industry by creating the best sales training programs available for online entrepreneurs.

I'm on a mission to help you create courage, clarity & confidence in your business by teaching you how to sell simply, effectively & with integrity.
