This episode of the Summer Series is all about sales!
I’m on a mission to make sales simple, aligned and easy. This episode was in response to the common struggles I hear in my community:
“I hate selling + avoid it at all costs”
“I got burnt last time + am afraid to try again”
“I’m worried I haven’t nailed the perfect pitch”
“I freeze up when it’s time to ‘make the pitch’”
Can you relate? If sales make you feel this way, it’s no wonder they’re such an unpopular part of building a business!
There’s got to be a better way.
If you’re ready to actually enjoy selling and move past your fear of sales, there’s just one thing I need you to let go of.
Because it’s killing your sales and holding you back.
Can you guess what it is?
Sales based on desperation keep you stuck in a fear based mindset. The key to selling in a connected and easeful way is to have faith that whether you get the sale or not, you’re going to be okay.
Let go of that need for your launch or offer to work no matter what. Leave room for experimentation and play. Picture yourself with a lab coat on! You’re simply gathering data and making adjustments as needed.
To support you further on your selling journey, I’ve put together the following powerful statements you can turn to when you need them.
I am offering help that the right people would love to have.
I do not need to convince anyone to do anything. That’s not my job.
I’m genuinely excited to go out there and provide true value with my …
Selling is simply providing an invitation to go deeper.
I do not need my next offering to generate sales. I am safe, worthy and I will figure out how to get where I’m going.
Selling is fun & natural. If I’m not having fun I commit to taking a step back unti lI can re-approach with lightness.
If no one purchases my offer it isn’t a comment on me as a person. If that happens I’ll analyze the data and use if for my next step.
Making more sales won’t solve all of my problems.
I have what it takes to be an entrepreneur because I will NOT quit.
I’m in this for the long haul and recognize that good things take time. It’s ok to grow slow.
Here are all the reasons why this offer will truly help someone:
Ideas I have for offering free value that sound fun:
How can I talk about my offer as a natural way to go deeper if people want more?
Even if I completely bomb and my business closes forever I am going to be ok. I will be just fine. There are a million ways I can go and make money if I need to from Starbucks barista to corporate job. I believe in my ability to deal with that if it comes.
Selling can be fun and easy if I let it be fun and easy.
